Sarah Gilbert, EMBA

Sarah Gilbert serves as RHR’s chief technology officer. She has a background in journalism, strategic planning, IT, and change management and employs her technical and analytical skills to keep RHR running efficiently. Prior to her role as CTO, she was the head of RHR operations for a decade, reshaping RHR’s operations and introducing new technology and tools that produce higher-value outcomes. In addition, she has been instrumental in redesigning and rebuilding many of our client-facing technologies, tools, and teams.

Before joining RHR, Sarah worked in account management and change management for numerous technology companies, delivering sophisticated financial research and planning tools. She served as a strategist and change manager for Oppenheimer Funds, Inc., spearheading an overhaul of the company’s IT business strategy. At Travelport, she oversaw a team of 40 developers delivering custom travel software to multinational companies including IBM and Nike.

Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and cognitive psychology from Queen’s University, a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder, and an Executive MBA from the University of Colorado Denver. In her free time, she can be found outdoors skiing, hiking, or playing tennis.
