Adam Magerman is an ICF-certified coach and consultant at RHR International. He is instrumental in shaping the firm’s Culture of Belonging efforts—extending his decades of organizational and cultural development experience to enterprises in the pursuit of creating great places to work. He works with senior leaders to accelerate their development and support their efforts in driving business and managing change. Exploring leadership through a psychological and neuroscientific lens, Adam helps clients unlock new insights that lead to transformational change. His work includes executive coaching, leadership assessment and training, Culture of Belonging assessment and development, and content development.

Adam strives to maximize the positive impact leaders have in their organizations and their lives. He approaches his work with a deep-rooted, driving motivation to inspire change at the individual level. This goal, coupled with his relentless pursuit of knowledge, enables him to be meticulous in driving results that positively impact leaders and entire organizations.

Adam earned his PhD in social psychology and neuroscience from the University of Delaware. He teaches psychology and management courses at Harvard University and the University of Delaware. Adam worked in academia as a social neuroscientist for 10 years, where he studied the impact of identity on leadership performance. He also has worked for Gestaltworks, a Pennsylvania-based firm focusing on business and executive coaching; strategic planning; and team, organization, and leadership development.

When he’s not working, Adam is either training for a race, cooking (lately he’s been pursuing the art of the perfect pizza), gardening, listening to music, and reading. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife and two Boston terriers.
