Daniel LeBreton is a partner and the lead for Edge Coaching, RHR’s executive coaching service. Dedicated to helping organizations develop leaders and cultures that dignify work, engage people, and inspire excellence, he is passionate about exploring the psychological underpinnings of leadership, engagement, motivation, team dynamics, and performance. Daniel has nearly two decades of experience providing leadership and team assessment and development services. At RHR, he serves as both an executive coach and a facilitator for cohort-based leadership development.

Daniel has worked with organizations ranging from a two-person music technology start-up to Fortune 50 corporations and in a wide array of industries, including financial services, manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare, real estate development, transportation, nonprofit, technology, professional services, and private equity. His leadership development efforts span the C-suite to midlevel management. In addition to providing services directly to clients, Daniel also designs and innovates offerings within the Coaching and Development and Teams practices at RHR.

Prior to joining RHR, Daniel founded and operated Impavid Consulting, a psychology-based leadership development consultancy, and served as a full-time faculty member in the Leadership, Policy, and Organizations department at Vanderbilt University, where he taught graduate and undergraduate courses in leadership and organizational behavior. Daniel continues to teach at Vanderbilt as an adjunct professor and is a pro bono advisor at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, where he advises start-ups on the interpersonal challenges associated with business growth.

Daniel received his master of science and PhD in industrial/organizational psychology from Virginia Tech and his bachelor of science in psychology from Illinois State University. He lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with his family; when not working, he enjoys reading, writing, playing tennis, and skiing.
