As a partner at RHR and leader of the firm’s U.S. West region, Eric Prensky develops strong partnerships with clients and thoughtfully designs and delivers impactful interventions that accelerate the growth of executives. Whether he’s advising CEOs, C-suite executives, or boards, Eric has an ability to share actionable insights that drive high-level impact with clients. CEOs and their teams value Eric as a thought partner who provides them with a forward-looking, holistic perspective.

Eric is well-known for his ability to work as comfortably with Fortune 100 companies as he does with rapidly scaling, venture-backed startups and firms within the private equity space. Eric is quick to establish connections and resonate authentically with his clients, forging long-lasting ties that cultivate growth on both individual and organizational levels. He empowers executives to identify both their own superpowers and areas of growth, effectively closing gaps in leadership and creating high-performing executive teams. He also leads large projects within RHR’s Scaled Services offerings, advising on critical talent decisions.

Eric possesses a firsthand understanding of an executive’s world. Before joining RHR, he founded and headed his own consulting group, assessing and coaching leaders in the nonprofit and tech sectors. As a result, Eric is able to couple his business acumen with his behavioral science expertise to steer leaders toward success.

Eric has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Skidmore College, a certification in organizational leadership from Argosy University, and a PhD in clinical psychology from Texas Tech University. Outside of work, Eric values his time with family and friends and traveling the world. When he’s not working, Eric can be found trying new restaurants, going to live music venues, and road biking.
