Justin Long is a partner at RHR International, based in Southern California. His mix of practical business experience, corporate talent-management leadership, and psychology expertise gives him a unique ability to guide leaders, teams, and organizations to unlock exceptional performance.
Justin’s mission is to help clients maximize their competitive advantage and win in the marketplace through taking their leadership capabilities to the next level. He has worked across multiple industries, including financial services, biotechnology/pharmaceuticals, and retail. Justin’s areas of expertise in the executive talent space include facilitating selection decisions through rigorous assessment, accelerating leaders’ development through coaching, and building high-performing teams.
Justin is known for being perceptive, innovative, and results oriented. These qualities give him an edge when guiding top leaders to make talent decisions that yield the highest return on investment. As an executive coach, Justin specializes in helping leaders clarify vision and values, elevate executive presence, and enhance emotional intelligence. He challenges leaders to build momentum through short-term wins and to sustain momentum through clear action plans.
Prior to RHR, Justin held leadership roles in corporate talent management. While his primary accountability was enterprise-wide talent processes, he was known for providing high-impact development solutions for executives and their teams and serving as a trusted advisor for talent decisions in merger-and-acquisition contexts. Justin’s background also includes time with a boutique leadership development firm, where he gained foundational consulting skills. Justin began his career in corporate sales with AT&T, where he developed practical business acumen and strong relationship-building skills.
Justin earned his PhD in business psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He holds a master’s degree in theology from Fuller Seminary and two bachelor’s degrees in psychology and philosophy from the University of Delaware.
Outside of work, Justin enjoys spending time with his family. He is an active member of his church and supports various nonprofit organizations. Some of Justin’s hobbies include real estate investing, hot yoga, and watching college football.
