Katharine Bain

As an associate with RHR International, Katharine Bain brings more than 20 years of experience in leadership assessment and development, executive coaching, and talent management. She is currently based in the UK and has lived and worked globally.

Katharine’s expertise includes developing talent strategies, designing and implementing talent assessment and development programs, and identifying high-potential leaders within an organization. She also works one-on-one as a coach to help C-suite and other senior leaders transition into new roles, identify areas of career and personal growth, and improve their executive impact and presence.

With curiosity and compassion, Katharine combines her ability to personally connect with objective data to offer candid and fact-based insights to businesses and individuals. She believes that people succeed most when they feel free to be themselves, and she is intentional about creating an atmosphere of trust and safety.

Katharine has worked across a wide range of industries, including technology, pharmaceuticals, energy, retail, telecommunications, insurance, hospitality, and fast-moving consumer goods. She holds a master’s degree in occupational psychology from Birkbeck, University of London, and is a chartered member of the British Psychological Society. She is also trained and accredited in several psychometric and development tools and is an accredited coach with the Academy of Executive Coaching and a member of the Association for Coaching.

In her personal life, Katharine enjoys getting outside for hikes, open-water swimming, and keeping up with her energetic family. She also enjoys organizing a variety of events to connect with friends and family through shared experiences and deep conversations.
