Kelsey Harper is a senior partner and head of Client Management at RHR. In this position, he is responsible for the impact, sustainability, growth, and satisfaction of RHR’s clients. Kelsey partners with colleagues across the firm to ensure RHR’s solutions are tailored to remove clients’ strategic barriers and enable their overall success. As a practitioner, he continues to collaborate with clients across a variety of industries, partnering with them to build solutions related to their most critical leadership challenges. His expertise spans across solutions related to CEO succession and deeper bench succession planning; building executive resilience and leadership capabilities; selecting, promoting, and onboarding critical talent; and building and leading high-performing teams.

A former athlete and business leader, Kelsey leverages his psychology background to identify the underlying factors driving and inhibiting performance and applies the principles of business and performance psychology to drive impactful and sustainable change. He prides himself on being a thought partner to clients and utilizes his experience to ensure RHR’s work is anchored in and aligned with their strategic objectives. Kelsey embeds his values in his work: showing up consistently, upholding honesty and candor, and being responsive to the needs of others.

Prior to joining RHR, Kelsey worked for a global executive search firm where he was a core member of the assessment and development practice. In addition to working with clients on a variety of talent management projects, he has held both regional and national leadership roles. Kelsey received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Marquette University and a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology and PsyD in business psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Outside of work, Kelsey can be found enjoying time with his family.
