Summary

As Team Lead, Research and Development at RHR International, Matt Betts works under the umbrella of the firm’s Products, Data & Insights Lab. He is responsible for both the technical and creative sides of data analytics, producing insights that are easily accessible to clients and creating innovative, data-forward solutions to help clients make sound talent and business decisions.

Matt has worked in the leadership-consulting space for more than a decade as a consultant and product leader, leading employee-experience teams, and developing HR technology solutions around talent management and employee experience. At RHR, he partners with colleagues from across the firm to optimize and scale assessment and survey tools. He also helps design customized solutions to meet specific client needs and is especially interested in developing digital interfaces that make data easier to interpret and quicker to deliver for better decision-making.

As a team member, he finds satisfaction in seeing complex projects through to completion and enjoys collaborating with others and supporting newer employees as they develop their skills and abilities.

Matt holds both a PhD and a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Georgia. With strong roots and deep personal connections in the state, he lives outside the Atlanta area with his wife and two young children and is a rabid fan of Georgia Bulldogs football.
