Myongii Shephard is a client analyst and member of the Culture of Belonging practice at RHR International. Before joining RHR, she leveraged her skills to manage revenue-driving engagements for organizations in industries ranging from finance and private equity to food and beverage. She also supported RHR business development before immersing herself in the Culture of Belonging practice. Myongii is adept at conducting in-depth employee-experience research, ensuring that RHR consistently weaves its belonging principles throughout the firm and into client engagements. Myongii is motivated by her interest in company cultures and the importance of empowering people to be themselves in their workplaces. To this end, she helps support RHR change-management initiatives that seek to build firms that are culturally fluent, highly responsive, and socially responsible.

Myongii’s passion for creating cultures of belonging is demonstrated in part by her leadership of several internal initiatives. She leads RHR’s diversity and inclusion media club, where members explore themes of diversity in films, podcasts, and other media. In addition, she co-founded and helped manage RHR’s women’s mentoring group, a subset of a broader employee resource group formed to empower women in leadership. The group gives female-identifying employees opportunities to lead by mentoring their colleagues, thus encouraging continual learning and development across the organization. Myongii holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in business administration, and advanced certification in the interpretation of Hogan personality assessments.

In everything she does, Myongii emphasizes the importance of relationships. She believes transparency leads to trust, and trust forms the foundation of honest and authentic relationships. This is reflected especially in Myongii’s personal life, as she brings her signature empathy to friends and family. When she’s not at work, Myongii can be found enjoying her hometown, New York City, where she was born and raised.
