Nicholas C. Kovacs is a product and assessment enablement lead at RHR who focuses on scaling, innovation, and assessment capabilities. He’s also a leader in behavioral science and talent analytics, driving research-based talent solutions for executives and organizations across life sciences, insurance, financial services, and venture capital firms. Previously, as the lead of behavioral science and talent analytics at Mix Talent, he oversaw consulting activities, led cross-functional teams, and directed enterprise strategic projects focused on innovation and process improvement.

Nick specializes in talent-management frameworks, including job architecture, career pathing, and competency modeling. He designs and validates talent-assessment tools, such as resilience-based sales measures and 360 feedback, and leads large-scale consulting engagements to align talent strategy with business objectives. He also leads company-wide training on and adoption of AI tools to enhance efficiency, analytics, and innovation.

Nick holds a PhD and master’s degree in industrial and organizational/ human factors psychology from Wright State University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Washington University in St. Louis. Outside work, Nick enjoys spending quality time with his family, whether it’s relaxing at home, going for a walk, or finding a new restaurant to enjoy together. He also maintains an active lifestyle by lifting weights in his home gym. To challenge his mind, he loves solving puzzles and playing any and all board games.
