Parley Acker enjoys partnering with people at all professional levels to help them grow personally and professionally as leaders, colleagues, and fellow human beings.
Parley Acker is a leadership development consultant and certified executive coach who works with RHR International’s Executive Bench® practice area. With more than 25 years of experience, he has led the design and execution of leadership development programs across industries, including at multinationals such as General Electric, Aramco, and Citigroup.
Parley has had the privilege of assessing, advising, and coaching executives and emerging leaders from a wide variety of cultures. Most recently, he completed a four-year assignment in the Middle East, where he worked with individuals from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas.
His passion is partnering with people at all professional levels to help them grow personally and professionally as leaders, colleagues, and fellow human beings. He is particularly fond of supporting emerging talent as they develop their skills to grow into world-class leaders who in turn will inspire leadership excellence in their own teams for years to come.
Parley and his wife Terri split their time between New York’s Hudson Valley and Dallas, Texas to be close to family and friends. They love traveling, hiking, experiencing other cultures, and collecting historical pieces such as World War I trench art, made by soldiers and civilians in conflict areas using materials like spent shell casings—a reminder that even during the darkest of situations, human beings are still compelled to create beauty and look for hope and positivity.
Parley holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Marist College and a master’s degree in organizational psychology from the State University of New York at New Paltz. He is a Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation.
