DEI in 2024: milestones, setbacks and shifting priorities

Over the past year, there has been increased scrutiny towards DEI programs. WorkLife recently took a look at the milestones and setbacks in corporate DEI strategies. In speaking to RHR on the topic, senior partner and global head of Culture of Belonging, Cristina Jimenez shared insights from her work with leadership teams over the past year. Cristina noted that while many leaders may have felt stuck in 2024, there is work being done to make progress the year ahead. Leadership teams will need to look at the values and purpose of the organization, and understand how to link that with the business strategy, and identify how equity plays a significant part of that.
