Melonie Boone has devoted more than 25 years advising chief executives and senior leaders in multinational organizations. She maintains a people-centric focus on providing value-added support to her clients.

Melonie Boone is a partner in the Chicago office. She is a business psychologist and trusted advisor to boards of directors, chief executive officers, C-suite executives, and senior management teams. Melonie has devoted over 25 years to advising top executives and senior leaders in multinational organizations. She maintains a people-centric focus on providing value-added support to her clients. In addition to advising, she has had a dynamic management career leading the development, planning, staffing, and budgeting of organizations from start-ups to thriving companies with thousands of staff on a global level. She is also the author of HEROic Leadership: The Secret to Developing Stronger High Performing Teams Using Psychological Capital, published in the Spring of 2023. 

Her unique mix of knowledge, skills, and experiences in international business management; strategy; human resources; business law; organizational development; diversity, equity, and inclusion; culture transformation; change management; and operations allows her to assist with building high-impact growth and developing exceptional leadership teams. Specific industries in her client base include manufacturing, professional and financial services, insurance, healthcare, technology, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, retail, restaurants, and supporting family-owned companies. Before joining RHR, she coached senior leaders on operating and expanding globally, where she gained a working knowledge of business operations, compliance, and human resource practices in nearly 20 countries. 

Melonie is honored to coach and support executives with a particular focus on C-suite and VP-level leaders. By combining her strong business acumen and business psychology expertise, she has been instrumental in helping leaders achieve results through her hands-on coaching methodology. She works closely with companies to support the integration of new CEOs and with their senior teams to align on purpose and shared agenda, propelling them to achieve accelerated success. 

Melonie holds a PhD in organizational leadership from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She earned a master of jurisprudence in business law and corporate governance from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, a master’s degree in business administration from Florida Metropolitan University, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration in HR management from Loyola University Chicago Quinlan School of Business. 

Outside of work, Melonie serves as a mentor to executive women from around the globe, helping them achieve their career goals. She also serves on nonprofit boards and volunteers as a business mentor. She loves to spend time with family and has a passion for fitness, reading graphic novels, and walking along the Chicago lakefront.
