Jon Lurie is an associate with RHR International’s Scaled Consulting solutions area. He specializes in leadership assessment, helping companies and the individuals who lead them to identify talent and unlock the potential required to enhance performance at a senior level.

As an organizational psychologist, Jon creates assessment reports that capture the true essence of individual leaders. His straightforward and practical approach identifies strengths, potential derailers, and areas to work on in order to maximize performance. Jon’s deep insights help leaders understand what drives their behavior and what is holding them back, leading to greater self-awareness and sustained change.

Jon has worked with many of the world’s leading organizations to optimize the effectiveness of their leaders. Highlights of his work include advising the board of one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies on its talent-management strategy, reviewing the organization of a major sovereign wealth fund, and assessing partner candidates for leading professional services firms. He has assessed leaders around the world across all sectors.

Jon has extensive experience in consulting and executive assessment. He has been an HR director for a global information services company and was a partner responsible for organization behavior in an international strategy consulting firm. He has bachelor’s degrees in economics and psychology from the University of Cape Town, where he was born, and a master’s degree in occupational psychology from the University of London. He is also a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. 

When not at work, Jon can be found spending time with his family and friends. He has a dry sense of humor, enjoys keeping fit, and enjoys drinking wine even more.
