Summary

Lyse Wells is a partner at RHR International. She has deep experience in strategy implementation, organizational change and transformation, and individual and team development. In addition, she has broad expertise in HR processes including selection, learning, succession planning, performance management, retention, and engagement.

A sought-after change expert and HR strategist, Lyse has worked with clients in a variety of industries, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small family-owned businesses. Prior to joining RHR, she spent more than 20 years leading change and talent management, working with leaders as an internal HR partner, as well as three years in consulting. 

Lyse embraces a good challenge and thrives when making the impossible possible. As the sister of an individual with special needs, principles like fairness and compassion are front and center in her work, and her approach is both strategic and relational. She builds trust while learning the business and invites her clients into the creation of the change strategy they want to achieve.

Some of her career highlights include facilitating a 39-percentage-point improvement in employee engagement at one business in less than a decade, being recognized for outstanding talent-management practices growing leaders to support fast growth with an employee base increase of 140 percent, and creating a program to develop a more diverse talent pipeline.

Lyse holds a PhD and a master’s degree in organizational and managerial psychology from Old Dominion University and a bachelor’s degree in distributed studies in business, psychology, and communication from Iowa State University. She also participated in a mini-executive MBA program through the University of California, Irvine that she played a role in creating.

Outside of work, Lyse is passionate about fitness and dancing as well as reading and journaling. She also relishes spending time with her two grown sons, extended family, and loved ones.
