Kari Bruursema brings extensive experience in management consulting and leadership development. Her expertise includes executive assessment and coaching, top team facilitation, and organizational culture and change.

Before joining RHR, Kari was a principal consultant at Ampersand Leadership Group, focusing on mid-market private equity and corporate clients. Earlier consulting experience at McKinsey and Accenture further shaped her ability to translate complex business and organizational challenges into practical solutions. She specialized in high stakes selection assessments for C-suite hires, delivering insights and implications to inform sound decisions.

Kari earned a PhD and a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of South Florida and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Grand Valley State University.

Kari lives in Michigan and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and creating inviting spaces that bring people together.
