Thomas Saporito advises boards and senior leaders on executive succession, board effectiveness, and leadership transitions.
He chairs the compensation committee of RHR’s board of directors and previously served as chairman and chief executive officer, helping shape the firm’s mission, values, and leadership standards. Widely recognized as an authority on CEO succession and governance, Tom brings a deep perspective on how boards use power wisely, set direction collaboratively, and build agile, future-ready organizations.
He is the co-author of Inside CEO Succession: The Essential Guide to Leadership Transition and has written extensively on leadership for The Wall Street Journal and Forbes.
Tom also serves on the board for BAYADA Home Health Care. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, cooking, playing guitar, and traveling.
