Brett Williams is a partner at RHR, where he leverages his background in counseling and psychology to support his clients in shaping impactful leaders. For over a decade, Brett has worked with clients in various industries, helping C-suite executives develop critical leadership skills and identify opportunities for growth.

At the start of his professional life, Brett worked in restaurants for 13 years as a chef, which sharpened his ability to work efficiently and diligently in fast-paced environments. His time in the service industry enabled him to acquire an invaluable skill: the ability to interact authentically with people of varying backgrounds. This formative time also reinforced his core belief in treating others with respect, dignity, and empathy. Brett’s role as an adjunct faculty member and executive coach at the Center for Creative Leadership has also been integral to his work with organizational leaders.

Brett holds a master’s degree and a PhD in counseling and counselor education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wake Forest University and is a member of the International Coaching Federation. Brett has certification in or is qualified to deliver multiple assessment and personality tools, including FIRO-B®, FIRO Business®, the WorkPlace Big Five Profile™, and the Hogan battery of assessments. Outside of work, you can find Brett spending time with his family, enjoying the outdoors, listening to podcasts, or cooking something amazing.
