Suza Reuter

Suza Reuter is RHR’s Chief Financial Officer and a highly accomplished finance professional with a proven track record of driving financial success and spearheading growth. She possesses a deep understanding of financial strategies, risk management, and business operations and has consistently delivered innovative solutions to improve profitability and optimize capitalization structure. Suza brings proven expertise in developing and implementing strategic financial plans, driving cost-effective initiatives, and establishing strong internal controls. Suza is a financial visionary committed to leveraging data-driven insights and emerging technologies for the benefit of RHR and our clients.

Prior to joining RHR, Suza served as the Chief Financial Officer of IFF in Chicago, Illinois. One of the nation’s largest Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI), IFF experienced 60 percent net assets growth over the past five years. Suza spearheaded the financial strategy and execution. She led successful fund- and capital-raising efforts, securing $40M in equity and $350M in debt capital over five years from bank and philanthropic investors. In another previous role, Suza was a vice president of Real Estate portfolio/ investment management at Goldman Sachs.

Suza holds a master’s degree in business administration/finance from Ludwig- Maximilians Universität München, Munich, and is a founding member of the Chicago chapter of Chief. Outside of work, Suza enjoys spending time with family and friends and cooking when time allows. She loves tennis and skiing (in the Rockies especially), and as the parent of two girls, enjoys exploring Chicago parks in any weather.
